Excelling: A Study of Technical Direction

This documentation will examine my journey through the graduate program of
Northern Illinois University’s School of Theatre and Dance as an MFA candidate in the area of
Technical Direction. It will reference topics including current events, perspectives and thoughts
on technical direction, running a scene shop, classes and some background information. It will
also discuss elements of the following productions: 2017 Fall Dance Concert, By the Bog of
Cats, and Wonderfully Alice.
